It often comes as a surprise to people when they find that there 9 manufacturers of 'AGA' style cookers in the UK. The name 'AGA' is owned by the Rangemaster Company and only they are allowed to use it on there cookers.
The ECO Range Cooker Co products were born to bring the traditional style of an AGA COOKER, togther with the use of modern technology and design, to make a clean, energy efficient 'AGA cooker' that is ECO friendly. An efficient iron range cooker and room heater that will turn any house into a home.
Hours of computer design and the use of the latest production techniques have allowed us to produce an beautifull AGA-Rayburn type Range cooker/room heater that in:
Oil Fired: 2 models; 3 oven cooker room heater or a 2 oven boiler model which can either provide central heating @ 93.5% efficiency and/or cooking for approx. 1/5th the cost of running a classic 'AGA'
Wood fired: An 83% efficient wood burning 3 oven room heater/cooker that use Patented T3 technology (see allso Burley Stoves click here). Using approx just 2kg's of logs/hour.
The use of clean burning technology whether oil burning, gas burning or wood burning, makes an important contribution to cleaner air and reduced running costs and CO2 emissions. The more efficient the burn and the more efficient the appliance the lower the level of polution. Always remember Electricity is a means of transmitting energy, it is not a source of energy and electricity in the UK, for the next 10-20 years is and will continue to be mainly made from Coal and Gas. Quality of product design and outstanding British craftsmanship are the makeup of every Eco Range Cooker. All iron work is cast in Oxford, parts are enamelled in Birmingham and assembled in Canterbury, Kent, a truly British product from the 'garden of England'. We do not own or use Chinese or Taiwanese foundries. Even the spring handles are wound at a family firm in Edenbridge, and plated at Ramsgate in Kent, a truly British product.
More than just a cooker, an iron range is designed to heat your kitchen efficiently as well. A timer clock is used to control the hours of hot water, heating & cooking unlike traditional AGA cookers which are on constantly wasting energy, polluting the atmosphere and costing you over £ 1,200 a year to run.
